Miami Heat Still Incomplete?

The Larry O'Brien Championship (NBA Finals) Trophy  is to the Miami Heat as Certificate of Live Birth from the state of Hawaii is to Barack Hussein Obama, IITake it how you want to but the Heat have to prove themselves to the rest of te NBA world.  The Philadelphia 76ers proved that they belonged in the playoffs by acting as David against Goliath.  I give the 76ers the credit they deserve but after watching the entire series it was hard not to notice that the Heat were not playing to their potential.  Are the Miami Heat still incomplete?  I would imagine that Peirce, Allen, Garnett & Rondo are licking their chops.  The Boston Celtics rested & ready definitely are cut from a different cloth than the Philadelphia 76ers. They will have no problem sweeping another team if the Heat approach this series with the same nonchalant attitude they brought to a much smaller & inexperienced 76ers.

If it wasn't for Mario Chalmers, eventhough hesitant in the beginning; shot 6-12 from 3 point land and along with Joel Anthony brought a spark to the Heat.  Anthony had 2 blocks, 5 rebounds & 4 points from the free throw line.  Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Mike Bibby both only played close to 5 minutes, which was a wise and timely decision by Erik Spoelstra.  A decision that would change the game by matching the speed of the young 76ers.  Mario Chalmers & Joel Anthony over Mike Bibby & Ilgauskas gives the Heat a better match-up against the Celtics, also.  Rajon Rondo would run circles around Mike Bibby & most other point guards but the younger legs & hustle of Chalmers would keep the Miami bigs out of foul trouble.  Ilgauskas is not a threat in the paint on the defensive side which would definitely welcome any Celtic to drive to the basket.  After watching Joel Anthony's growth on the defensive side of the ball I would legitimately say he's earned the Celtics respect as they watched from home this evening.

Dwyane Wade & Lebron James decided to awaken in the 2nd half when I think they realized that it was a close-out game.  Lebron sprinkled his offense throughout the game with 16 points and 8 assist with Mario Chalmers as the primary beneficiary.  Dwyane Wade did his best impression of Kobe Bryant when he remembered that he is one of the premiere scores in the league around mid 4th quarter.  The bottom line is the Miami Heat lacking sense of URGENCY is not going to fly versus the "Big 4" & the Celtics.  Making a comeback run against Doc River's brilliant defensive mind is like trying to climb out of quicksand, not probable.  The Heat got to get out early because there possibly won't be a later against defenders like a Kevin Garnett and the Celtics have adopted his intensity.

Overall, the series should go 7 games & be one of the most exciting in NBA history, what all NBA fans yearn for & what many anticipated before the playoffs even started.

Match-Ups to watch for...
Rondo vs. Chalmers/Bibby
Ray Allen vs. D Wade
Paul Pierce vs. LeBron
Garnett vs. Chris Bosh

It's like watching an Eastern Conference All-Star game... Enjoy NBA fans!!!
