Nearly $4 a gallon to fill up our "chariots" that get us from point A to point B. One tank of gas, depending on how many gallons it holds could cost an individual on average anywhere from $48-$65 to fill up. It's crazy to think there has been approximately a $2.96 increase on gas prices by the gallon. Not wanting to date myself but that means when I start driving gas prices were at $.99 a gallon. Of course those wonderful gas lows existed in an easier time around 1996-97, but as intelligent individuals you would think we would have found an alternative to spending nearly $150/month on traveling and that's only if you fill up twice a month. Possibly more or less but $1800/year not including taxes, parking, maintenance, registration (tags), and for those vehicular outlaws; fines, court fees, etc. @ThatManDPruitt or @SportsEmerge on Twitter.com

I have a far fetched solution; an unlikely scenario for the typical American person but a solution that could possible "KILL 2 BIRDS WITH 1 STONE". It comes from most of the American people's favorite past time, it is something I can say I enjoyed as a kid. RIDE A BICYCLE... One or two fill-ups of your vehicle could actually be more expensive than buying a bicycle. On top of riding a bicycle especially now as Spring rolls in; exercise comes into play as you get to your destination. Ride a bicycle to work, to the store; hell ride it anywhere. Only those who is capable, but even those who are capable has been brainwashed into this vehicular dependancy. Exactly where the OIL COMPANIES want us, making us think we NEED their product to be mobile. Not at all true...
We could be a heathly people who have money and don't pollute the Earth all at he sametime by just Riding a Bicycle. But let's be realistic, we can scream and yell at our government for gas prices and still go buy the gas anyway. We as a country have become to lazy to protest the OIL COMPANIES because that would make us to have to change our easy daily routine. SITTING in a car in traffic on the way to work, having road rage and becoming stressed out even before you get to work. But the alternative would be to healthy, save you too much money & possibly TANK the oil industry; if only American people would walk or ride bicycles. Of course those who are not physically capable of riding bicyles or walking then by all means drive a vehicle or jump on a bus. But for the rest of us what's are excuse? Including me...
